Pacific Northwest Alder
Alder ranges in natural colors from light brown sapwood to the darker reddish brown heartwood. Characteristics of Alder are mineral streaks, and small tight knots as well as better grain consistency and more consistent textures than Rustic Alder. Alder has a rich and beautiful look similar to cherry wood at a more affordable price.
